At the AI Institute for Life Improvement (AIILI), we believe the next generation of innovation toward a better world begins in community spaces, not just corporate boardrooms. We are building a future where AI literacy leads to human flourishing, and where learning these tools is accessible to all.

What We Do:
We bring AI education into community spaces through in person, relational, hands on learning that builds confidence and practical skill.
Most AI training today happens online, self-paced courses, webinars, or technical certifications that leave people learning in isolation.
While these models work for some, they often exclude the very communities that need support the most.
AIILI is different.
Our Approach:
We bring AI education into community spaces such as neighborhood centers, schools, nonprofits, and businesses through in person, relational, hands on learning that builds confidence, and practical skill. Programs are ethics focused, accessibility minded, and designed to help people flourish.

Our workshops and bootcamps make AI accessible for everyone, regardless of experience. Begin with Intro to AI to learn the basics and build confidence using tools like ChatGPT. AI for Life Improvement shows how AI can support personal growth, wellness, and creativity.
AI for Productivity teaches practical strategies to work smarter and stay organized. For those ready to go further, our bootcamp series offers hands-on learning from foundational skills to building your own AI-powered solutions. Each session is interactive, community-driven, and focused on ethical, real-world use.

AIILI is committed to building the next generation of leaders by combining AI literacy with flourishing education for youth. We design programs that meet students where they are, from foundational K–12 exposure to advanced opportunities for high school and early-college students. Our Summer High School Flourishing Program is a flagship example, giving students hands-on experience with AI, flourishing practices, and the chance to create business plans supported by stipends.
Why it matters: Young people need more than access to technology. They need guidance, confidence, and purpose. AIILI equips youth not only to understand AI but to use it as a tool for growth, creativity, and future opportunity.

Train-the-Trainer Certification: AIILI empowers individuals to become facilitators of AI learning. Through our certification, participants gain the skills and resources to teach AIILI programs in their own schools, community centers, and networks.
Why it matters: This creates a sustainable cycle of learning where today’s participant can become tomorrow’s teacher, multiplying impact far beyond AIILI’s direct reach.

Many organizations know they need to adopt AI but are unsure where to start. AIILI provides tailored strategy sessions, consultations, and workshops that help teams apply AI responsibly and effectively in their unique context.
Why it matters: Every organization is different. Our consulting and training save staff time, strengthen missions, and ensure AI is adopted in ways that serve people, not overwhelm them.

The Build Exchange is Tacoma’s first AI Builders Club. A gathering of builders, creatives, and dreamers who come together to learn, collaborate, and launch. Sessions include skills labs, guest spotlights, and live build sprints, with peer support and accountability built in. The Build Exchange serves as a network for AI co-creation, support, and innovation.
Why it matters: Unlike online courses that leave people learning alone, the Build Exchange creates real momentum in community, helping ideas move from curiosity to prototypes and prototypes to impact.
